Abstract

The spread of COVID-19 has affected the world from various aspects of life, including economic, political, social, health, and education. The learning pattern has undergone a drastic change due to the adaptation of teachers and students in fulfilling their online teaching and learning activities. Several issues arise regarding its effectiveness, acceptance, readiness and self-regulation of students, and teacher supervision throughout the session. “Talaqqi”, as a basic Islamic concept of teaching and learning might not be traditionally implemented during this pandemic period. Thus, objectives of this study are to discus the adaptation of talaqqi concept during the Covid-19 pandemic throughout online learning platform. This qualitative study used descriptive analysis methodology to understand the principal and elements of talaqqi and adapt the values in the online learning session. This study found that the effectiveness of this adaptation concept depends on the creativity of teachers and the readiness of students in engaging with virtual learning activities. Clear objectives and high awareness of self-responsibility among teachers and students will pave the way to successfully talaqqi via online learning. There are several metode in talaqqi concept may be adapted in online learning such as: Al-Talqin, Al-Ardh, Al-Sama’, Al-Mukatabah, Al-Tajribah dan Al-Tikrar. These methods are still well-functioning, with some re-arrangements to adapt to the online learning session.

Abstrak
Penularan pandemik COVID-19 telah memberi impak besar kepada semua aspek kehidupan manusia antaranya ekonomi, politik, sosial, kesihatan dan pendidikan. Secara drastik, berlaku perubahan kaedah pengajaran dan pembelajaran dalam semua peringkat bermula daripada pra-sekolah sehingga universiti. Beberapa isu menjadi perbincangan dalam sesi pengajaran dan pembelajaran yang berlangsung secara dalam talian seperti keberkesanan, kesediaan pengajar dan pelajar serta keterbatasan ruang dan peralatan bagi kedua-dua pihak. Dalam Pendidikan Islam, pembelajaran bersemuka ataupun dikenali dengan konsep talaqqi adalah kaedah paling berkesan dalam sesi pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Namun, kaedah ini tidak dapat lagi dilaksanakan secara tradisi asalnya ketika pembelajaran berlangsung dalam talian. Maka, objektif kajian ini meneliti prinsip asas talaqqi yang digunakan bagi disesuaikan nilainya dalam pembelajaran maya. Kajian ini merupakan kajian kualitatif yang menggunakan metodologi analisis deskriptif bagi meneliti konsep talaqqi serta kemampuan pelaksanaannya melalui sesi pengajaran dan pembelajaran dalam talian. Kajian mendapati bahawa konsep talaqqi dapat dilaksanakan melalui adaptasi prinsip, nilai dan elemennya dalam pembelajaran dalam talian. Proses adaptasi ini memerlukan kreativiti pendidik dan kesediaan pelajar untuk melaksanakannya. Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa terdapat beberapa metode dalam konsep talaqqi dapat diadaptasi secara maya antaranya al-Talqin, al-Ardh, al-Sama’, al-Mukatabah, al-Tajribah dan al-Tikrar. Kesemua metode ini mampu dijalankan dengan sedikit pengubahsuaian tetapi masih mengekalkan nilai asasnya bagi memastikan keberkesanan konsep talaqqi walaupun pembelajaran berlangsung dalam talian.
