This study focuses on the sustainable tourism of Tuba Island through the aspirations of 3M2U (build, enrich, empower) with a focus on producing local entrepreneurs who have effective communication or interactive skills using Malay and English as tourist attractions. Introducing the 3M2U concept through this linguistic medium is to meet the current needs of local youth to attract tourists without neglecting local customs and cultures. Tourism services and providing the best workforce require mastery of language skills in serving customers. The 3M2U concept focuses on three methods: first, build Tuba Island as the leading tourist destination with a Malay heritage identity; second, enriching the local community with easy communication skills; and third, improving the standard of living of the local community with linguistic skills to promote their products through effective communication. This qualitative study focuses on the basic elements of language skills as the needs of the local community. This study focuses on the local community by providing basic language skills training and increasing confidence in business communication. To achieve these objectives, this study was carried out as a 2-in-1 project, by providing training modules to youth entrepreneurs and a study of the effect of the training on the socio-economic development of the community in Tuba Island. In line with the government's aspirations, several instruments have been developed to measure participants' increased socio-economic impact and knowledge, skills, attitudes and program achievements. The study found several delimitations, including the lack of youth entrepreneurs, the pandemic that paralyzed tourism activities and the entrepreneur mentality that practiced the GIG economy made the results more significant and relevant.
